Hudson Yacht Club is pleased to once again host the FruitBowl. This unique annual event was established in 1996 as a regional training regatta. It has grown to become one of the best-attended youth regattas in North America and Canada’s largest multi-day youth sailing clinic. FruitBowl’s success is in large part due to the generosity of its sponsors.

The FruitBowl combines fun, learning and racing in the gorgeous setting of the Hudson Yacht Club.  Every year, we assemble a crack team of over 30 top coaches to help the young sailors prepare for the regatta.  This is how the four days unfold:

• Thursday: Clinics, Evening Event
• Friday: Clinics, Evening Event
• Saturday: Racing, Evening Event
• Sunday: Racing, Prize Giving

The FruitBowl 2008 dates are July 24-27, 2008, and as usual, your team is welcome to arrive the afternoon of the 23rd. See the Notice of Race.

The Canteen will be open from 08:00 to 19:00, Thursday through Sunday.  In addition, the Terrace will be open for lunch (to adults only) from 12:00 to 14:00 on the same days. Meal prices will be posted shortly. 

The Hudson Yacht club takes recycling seriously. We therefore kindly ask everyone to "bring their own water bottle". Water dispensers will be available for all to refill as needed.
