Lifesaving Courses

Please note that registration for all Pool Programs will be held on Saturday, June 7th in the Clubhouse from 9:30 a.m. until noon.

BRONZE MEDALLION (Royal Lifesaving of Canada)
Acquire an understanding of the key lifesaving principles embodied in the four components of water rescue education. Rescuers learn tows, carries and release methods in preparation for challenging rescues.
Minimum age: 13 years old.

ALL CLASSES MUST BE ATTENDED

SESSIONS

Program begins June 23rd on Mondays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (A minimum of 10 participants is required)

COST

$100.00 for the summer. (Course books at an additional cost.)

BRONZE CROSS (Royal Lifesaving of Canada)
This certificate is designed for lifesavers that want the challenge of more advanced training. Bronze Cross teaches the difference between lifesaving and lifeguarding. It also teaches the principles of emergency procedures and teamwork.
Minimum age: 14 years old.
Pre-requisite: Bronze Medallion.
